Retail gas prices by region
Gas prices today, June 8, continue to remain stable in the surveyed areas as businesses have not yet implemented a new adjustment phase after the first month update.
In the North, gas prices in Hanoi are currently listed at 578,664 VND for 12kg cylinders and 2,314,656 VND for 48kg cylinders. Meanwhile, in Hai Phong, the price of 12kg gas cylinders is also maintained at 578,664 VND, while 48kg cylinders are sold at 2,350,944 VND.
In the Central region, the Da Nang market continues to maintain a stable price level. Currently, 12kg gas cylinders are listed at 567,000 VND, while 48kg cylinders maintain at 2,183,000 VND. This is one of the localities with lower prices compared to many other regions in the country.
In the South, Ho Chi Minh City currently records a price of 592,000 VND for 12kg cylinders and 2,364,000 VND for 48kg cylinders. Meanwhile, in Can Tho, the selling price is 555,000 VND and 2,220,000 VND respectively.
According to records, retail gas prices between localities still have certain differences, mainly due to differences in transportation costs, distribution systems and market characteristics of each region. However, the general price level is still stable when no additional factors are large enough to create new fluctuations.
Retail gas prices by brand
Gas prices today, June 8th, according to major brands, continue to be flat when no new adjustments have been recorded in both the popular and industrial cylinder groups.
For Petrolimex, gas prices in Hanoi are currently listed at 578,664 VND for 12kg cylinders. The 48kg industrial cylinder line is maintained at 2,314,656 VND.
SAIGON PETRO continues to maintain the retail price list with a level of 639,500 VND for 12kg cylinders and 2,399,000 VND for 45kg cylinders.
Meanwhile, Pacific Petro currently lists the price of 12kg gas cylinders at 682,000 VND and 45kg cylinders at 2,528,000 VND. This continues to be one of the brands with the highest price level in the survey group.
For PV GAS, in Hanoi, the current price of a 12kg cylinder is 610,204 VND and a 45kg cylinder is 2,288,265 VND. In Ho Chi Minh City, the selling price is listed at 672,081 VND for a 12kg cylinder and 2,520,274 VND for a 45kg cylinder respectively.
In general, retail gas prices today according to brands continue to maintain a stable state. The difference between brands mainly comes from brands, cylinder capacity, distribution area and business policies of each business.
