Recording gas prices of Petrolimex Gas Corporation today, June 4, shows that the retail price level continues to be stable in many provinces and cities after the price reduction adjustment in early June, when businesses have not implemented a new price change phase:

In the Northern region, Petrolimex gas prices in Hanoi are currently listed at 578,664 VND for 12kg cylinders and 2,314,656 VND for 48kg cylinders. Meanwhile, in Hai Phong, the price of 12kg cylinders is also maintained at 578,664 VND, and 48kg cylinders at 2,350,944 VND. The higher price in Hai Phong partly reflects the distribution and transportation costs of each locality.
In the Central region, the Da Nang market continues to maintain a stable price level. Currently, 12kg gas cylinders are sold for 567,000 VND, while 48kg cylinders are listed at 2,183,000 VND. This is also an area with lower prices compared to many localities in the North and South.
In the Southern region, gas prices in Ho Chi Minh City are currently at 592,000 VND for 12kg cylinders and 2,364,000 VND for 48kg cylinders. Meanwhile, in Can Tho, the selling price is 555,000 VND for 12kg cylinders and 2,220,000 VND for 48kg cylinders respectively.
According to records, the gas price level between regions still has a certain difference due to differences in transportation costs, storage, distribution and consumption demand. In which, Petrolimex gas price today in Hanoi for 12kg cylinders is listed at 578,664 VND, lower than Ho Chi Minh City but higher than some localities in the Central and Southwest regions.
In general, the domestic gas market is maintaining a stable state, when supply is guaranteed and there is no sufficiently large factor to create strong fluctuations in retail prices.
