In the Northern region, live hog prices today increased sharply, fluctuating from 67,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. In which, Tuyen Quang, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Phu Tho, Son La have live hog prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 68,000 VND/kg. Hanoi, Hai Phong have live hog prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 69,000 VND/kg and Hung Yen has live hog prices increased by 1,000 VND/kg, to 70,000 VND/kg.
In the Central region, pork prices today also increased in many provinces and cities. Some provinces and cities have had live pig prices increase by 1,000 VND/kg such as: Quang Ngai, Da Nang, Hue, Quang Tri, Khanh Hoa (up to 68,000 VND/kg); Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh (up to 69,000 VND/kg).
In the Southern region, live hog prices today range from 68,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. In which, Dong Thap and Ca Mau have live hog prices increasing by 1,000 VND/kg, reaching 68,000 VND/kg. Dong Nai is still the province with the highest live hog prices in the region, at 70,000 VND/kg.
