Assessments and forecasts
In the short term, pepper prices are forecast to continue to fluctuate in a narrow range if new factors from the export market or global supply do not appear.
In recent years, Vietnam has not only maintained its position as the world's largest pepper exporter but has also become an important processing center for this item.
Importing raw materials from multinationals has helped businesses proactively source supplies, diversify products and meet different standards from international customers. Vietnam's pepper value chain is increasingly expanding, with a focus on production, processing and global trade.
