Assessments and forecasts
The price difference between the locality with the highest and lowest prices is currently at 3,000 VND/kg. This difference is in a narrow range, reflecting an increasing trend spreading across most production areas.
The remaining supply of goods in growing areas gradually decreasing after a strong export period in the first half of the year is one of the factors supporting prices. Purchasing demand to implement export contracts also creates more momentum for the domestic market.
