In this operating period, on April 8, 2026, the inter-Ministry of Industry and Trade - Finance decided to apply the new tax rates of environmental protection tax, value-added tax, special consumption tax on gasoline and oil according to Decision No. 482/QD-TTg dated March 26, 2026 of the Prime Minister, spending using the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund according to Decision No. 757/QD-BCT dated April 8, 2026 of the Minister of Industry and Trade on applying measures to use the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund, implementing domestic gasoline and oil price management to ensure accurate reflection of the trend of fluctuations in world gasoline and oil prices.
Continue to maintain the price difference between E5RON92 bio-gasoline and RON95 unleaded gasoline at a reasonable level to encourage the use of biofuels; ensure harmony of interests between market participants.
The selling prices of popular consumer gasoline and oil items on the market are as follows:
- E5RON92 gasoline: not higher than 24,737 VND/liter (down 691 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than RON95-III gasoline by 1,799 VND/liter;
- RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 26,536 VND/liter (down 440 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 42.841 VND/liter (down 1.947 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- 180CST 3.5S mazut oil: not higher than 24, 271 VND/kg (down 322 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).
