In the price management period on August 27, the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance decided to deduct from the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund (temporary advance fund from the state budget):
- Biofuel: 0 VND/liter;
- Diesel oil: 200 VND/liter;
0 VND/kg.
After implementing the provision and use of the gasoline and oil price stabilization fund for gasoline and oil items as above, the selling prices of gasoline and oil items are as follows:
- E5 RON92 gasoline: not higher than 21,763 VND/liter (down 70 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price), lower than E10 RON95-III gasoline by 839 VND/liter;
- E10 RON95-III gasoline: not higher than 22,602 VND/liter (down 66 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- Diesel oil 0.05S: not higher than 28,084 VND/liter (down 459 VND/liter compared to the current maximum selling price);
- Mazut oil 180CST 3.5S: not higher than 18,140 VND/kg (an increase of 451 VND/kg compared to the current maximum selling price).
Gasoline and oil selling prices of neighboring countries of Vietnam on August 27, 2026:
- Regarding gasoline prices: Thailand: 29,533 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 28,337 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Laos: 44,856 VND/liter; China: 31,657 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 22,602 VND/liter.
- Regarding oil prices: Thailand: 30,081 VND/liter (Government subsidies); Cambodia: 33,811 VND/liter; Laos: 38,184 VND/liter; China: 28,640 VND/liter (Government price control); Vietnam: 28,084 VND/liter.
Vietnam's gasoline and oil prices are currently low compared to countries sharing a common border.
