World oil prices fell more than 1% in the first session of the week, as investors took profits after a recent strong increase and were cautious about the possibility of the US announcing new sanctions against Iran. However, oil prices remained high, showing that the market continues to reflect risks of supply disruption due to US-Iran tensions.
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world gasoline and oil market in this operating period is affected by key factors such as: the peace negotiation process between the US and Iran along with the resumption of oil transportation through the Ormuz Strait being stalled; increased tensions in the Middle East region when the UAE announced the suspension of all trade and financial transactions with Iran; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues, focusing heavily on energy facilities and oil refineries...
The above factors have caused world finished gasoline and oil prices in recent days to increase and decrease depending on the item, but the upward trend is main.
