Long queue waiting to buy gold
Mr. Hoang Minh Duc (Gia Lam, Hanoi) waited outside Bao Tin Minh Chau store (Cau Giay, Hanoi) for 30 minutes to "hunt" for gold. "Up 2 steps, down 2 steps, from then until now, I still see this group of people waiting, there is no sign of going inside" - he sighed.
Because the amount of gold released into the market every day is not much, each customer can only buy 1 tael/time. Mr. Duc added: "If you can only buy 1 tael/time like this, you might just come in to look and then have to leave because you are not sure if you can buy it."
Agreeing with Mr. Duc, Ms. Mai Thanh Thuy (Hoang Mai, Hanoi) was luckier as she only had to wait 5 minutes to see the most luxurious item on the market right now. "I bought it just to stock up, but it took me a long time to get my turn, so I had to wait every day like during the subsidy period," Ms. Thuy said.
Wedding season, can not help but buy
Many parents were so busy lining up to buy gold that they had to ask their grandparents to pick up their children and take them to their next extra class. As for Ms. Nguyen Thanh Huyen (Cau Giay, Hanoi), she only dared to tell her child to sit in the car and then quickly run in to ask, because she knew the chance of buying gold today was only 50%.
"The price of gold is skyrocketing, and my grandchild is getting married so I still have to buy it. I've missed it for several days now, so tomorrow I have to be determined to come early or else I won't see any gold and will only get head shakes from the gold shop security guards" - Ms. Huyen sadly left.
In the same situation as Ms. Huyen, the last customer expressed regret because her grandchild's wedding was tomorrow and she still hadn't bought anything today. Just as she was about to leave, a customer ran out to "give" her the last ticket for the day.
Talking to reporters, an employee of Bao Tin Minh Chau store (Cau Giay, Hanoi) said: "Today alone, we have transacted for 200 customers. One person goes out, one person comes in, continuously, we have not had a moment to rest."

As of 5:30 p.m. on September 25, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by DOJI Group at VND81.5 - 83.5 million/tael (buy - sell). This unit listed the price of Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 round gold rings at VND81.45 - 82.50 million/tael (buy - sell).
Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau sells plain gold rings for up to 83.5 million VND/tael, while buying for only 81.5 million VND/tael. This is the highest price currently on the gold ring market.
On the international market, the price of this precious metal as of 3:00 p.m. Vietnam time was traded at 2,656 USD/ounce, slightly down compared to the morning.
