3 Army Major Generals take on new assignments

The Prime Minister decided to appoint 3 Army Major Generals to the positions of Military Region Commander and Political Commissar of the Military Region.

On February 24, Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed decisions to appoint the Commander and Political Commissar of Military Region 3, 5, 7, Ministry of National Defense.

In Decision No. 386/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Le Ngoc Hai, Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 5, Ministry of National Defense to hold the position of Commander of Military Region 5, Ministry of National Defense.

In Decision No. 385/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Tran Vinh Ngoc, Deputy Political Commissar of Military Region 7, Ministry of National Defense to hold the position of Political Commissar of Military Region 7, Ministry of National Defense.

In Decision No. 388/QD-TTg, the Prime Minister appointed Major General Nguyen Duc Hung - Political Commissar of the 12th Army Corps, Ministry of National Defense - to hold the position of Political Commissar of Military Region 3, Ministry of National Defense.

The above Decisions take effect from February 24, 2025.
