5 military generals stop holding leadership positions, waiting to retire

On February 17, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed the Prime Minister's decisions on 6 officials of the Ministry of National Defense ceasing to hold leadership positions, waiting for retirement.

According to Decision No. 306/QD-TTg, Major General Bui To Viet will cease to hold the position of Deputy Political Commissar of the Air Defense - Air Force, Ministry of National Defense, and retire from work from May 1, 2025 to retire under the regime from May 1, 2026.

According to Decision No. 307/QD-TTg, Rear Admiral Phan Tuan Hung ceased to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Navy, Ministry of National Defense, and retired from work from March 1, 2025 to retire under the regime from July 1, 2025.

According to Decision No. 308/QD-TTg, Major General Dang Van Hung will cease to hold the position of Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of Military Region 7, Ministry of National Defense, and retire from work from March 1, 2025, to retire according to the regime from September 1, 2025.

According to Decision No. 309/QD-TTg, Lieutenant General Tran Duy Giang ceased to hold the position of Director of the General Department of Logistics, Ministry of National Defense, and retired from work from March 1, 2025 to retire under the regime from July 1, 2025.

According to Decision No. 310/QD-TTg, Major General Le Van Phuc will cease to hold the position of Deputy Commander of the Border Guard, Ministry of National Defense, and retire from work from May 1, 2025 to retire under the regime from January 1, 2026.

According to Decision No. 311/QD-TTg, Major General Hoang Van Huu will cease to hold the position of Deputy Commander of Military Region 1, Ministry of National Defense, and will retire from work from March 1, 2025, and continue to work as a National Assembly delegate until the end of his term, then retire according to the prescribed regime.

- Colonel Luong Van Dung, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Command of Bac Giang province;

- Colonel Dang Xuan Hung, Political Commissar of the National Shooting Range Area 1;

- Colonel Tran Van Hieu, Brigade Commander of Brigade 382;

- Colonel Dang Dinh Bon, Vice Principal of Military School of Military Region 1.
