Accordingly, on September 19, Tay Ninh Provincial Police held a ceremony to award the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to former leaders and commanders who have made contributions to the People's Public Security Force.
The individuals include: Colonel Nguyen Thi Nghia - former Head of the Administrative Police Department for Social Order; Senior Lieutenant colonel Pham Van Ha - former Head of the Offline Department;
Senior Lieutenant colonel Pham Thanh An - former Deputy Head of Logistics Department; Senior Lieutenant colonel Pham Van Hung - former Deputy Head of Criminal Enforcement Police and Judicial Support Department;
Senior Lieutenant colonel Ngo Van Phuong - former Deputy Head of Technical Department II; representative of the family of Mr. Nguyen Duc Trong - former Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department.
At the ceremony, Colonel Phan Van Trieu - Deputy Director of Tay Ninh Provincial Police - emphasized that the individuals who were awarded and posthumously awarded the Medal had a long history of dedication to the Tay Ninh Provincial Police force, always being exemplary, taking the lead in all work, promoting the tradition of the People's Police soldier with the spirit of "Forgetting oneself for the country, Serving the people", always overcoming all difficulties to successfully complete assigned tasks...
The Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Provincial Police Department hope to continue receiving contributions and enthusiastic support from retired leaders and commanders in the tasks of the industry, maintaining political security and social order and safety.
Senior Lieutenant colonel Pham Van Ha - former Head of the Offshore Department, Tay Ninh Provincial Police - said that he will continue to maintain and promote the good qualities of the People's Police soldiers.
Also last week, on September 18, Major General Nguyen Hai Trung - Director of Hanoi City Police - presided over the ceremony to announce the decision to award the Third Class Fatherland Protection Medal to Senior Lieutenant colonel Dong Thi Anh Van and Senior Lieutenant colonel Nguyen Hai Yen - both former Deputy Heads of the Advice Department of Hanoi City Police.
The Director of Hanoi Police Department hopes that the individuals receiving the Medal will continue to strive, actively support their teammates in the cause of ensuring security and order, preserving a peaceful life for the people; and build the Capital Police force to be increasingly disciplined, elite and modern.
After retirement, these individuals will continue to promote the tradition of the Public Security sector, imparting rich work experience and life lessons to the next generation of cadres.
Senior Lieutenant colonel Nguyen Hai Yen said that being awarded the above Medal is an honor and pride for herself and her family, and also the responsibility of an exemplary Party member. The Senior Lieutenant colonel promised to actively participate in all aspects of work and movements to protect political security and social order and safety in the locality.
