On February 17, the Organizing Committee of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Party Committee announced that it had received applications for early retirement (early retirement) from 27 officials under the management of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee.
In addition to the 5 cadres who are members of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee who have submitted applications for early retirement (including Mr. Luu Tai Doan - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Huynh Van Danh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Nguyen Van Xinh - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Mai Ngoc Thuan - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Tran Dinh Khoa - Secretary of the Vung Tau City Party Committee), there are many key cadres at agencies and units who have submitted applications for early retirement.

The cadres of the advisory and support agencies of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the bloc include: Nguyen Van Loi (Deputy Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee); Le Van Lam (Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department); Nguyen Thanh Huan (Deputy Head of the Inspection Committee); Tran Van Tam (Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the agency and enterprise sector)...
In addition, there are leaders of districts, towns, city Party committees, departments, branches and sectors such as: Nguyen Van Tham (Chairman of Phu My Town People's Committee); Nguyen Dinh Trung (Director of the Department of Culture and Sports); Do Dinh Quoc (Head of the Ethnic Committee); and about 8 Deputy Directors of departments, units... who have submitted applications for early retirement. Mr. Nguyen Chau Trinh - Vice Chairman of the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor also submitted an application for early retirement.
"Among them, many comrades who have worked for more than a term have also submitted applications for early retirement, to create conditions for young cadres to develop, facilitate the work of streamlining the organizational apparatus", said Mr. Luu Tai Doan - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee.
The list of the above 27 officials will be submitted to the Provincial Party Committee for consideration. Based on the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, it is possible that some cases approved for early retirement will be announced on February 18.
Previously, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee approved the policy of issuing additional support policies for cadres applying for early retirement, in addition to the regime enjoyed under Decree 178 of the Government. On that basis, the Provincial People's Committee has completed the procedures and submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration of additional one-time support equal to 50% of the total allowance for beneficiaries according to the provisions of Articles 7, 9, and 10 of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP.
The total estimated cost of implementing the province's additional support policy is about 322 billion VND. This content will be considered in the 26th thematic session of the 7th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, scheduled to be held on February 20.
