Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just signed Official Dispatch No. 39/CD-TTg dated April 17, 2025 of the Prime Minister on ensuring traffic order and safety to serve the travel needs of the people during the April 30 - May holiday and the peak summer tourism season in 2025.
The content of the public power stated that in the first quarter of 2025, with the drastic direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, and the active participation of ministries, branches and localities, the situation of traffic order and safety (traffic safety) continued to be improved. Traffic accidents are pulled in all three criteria, traffic congestion is controlled.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated the ministries, branches and localities for proactively planning to ensure traffic safety during the year and peak times, deploying according to assigned functions and tasks.
During the April 30 - May holiday and the peak summer tourism season in 2025, travel and transportation demand is forecast to increase, creating greater pressure on traffic safety and order assurance, potentially leading to higher risks of traffic accidents and traffic congestion.
To ensure traffic safety and order, facilitate people's travel during the April 30 - May holiday and the peak summer tourism season in 2025, the Prime Minister requests ministries, branches and localities:
Proactively closely follow the actual situation, urge and supervise the best implementation of traffic safety and order assurance activities according to the functions, tasks and plans of each ministry, branch and locality during the peak holiday season of April 30 - May and the peak summer tourism season of 2025.
Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities direct agencies, units, and functional forces to review local plans, ensuring closely following the plans and orientations of central ministries and branches; and assigning specific units to implement.
Focus on managing and controlling common violations during holidays, routes, areas and times with high risk of traffic accidents and congestion in the area; Incorporate traffic safety content in the organization of transportation, tourism and resorts activities in the area.
Organize 24/7 duty during the holidays; strengthen coordination and information exchange on traffic safety assurance between units directly responsible for ensuring traffic safety in the area.
Ministries, branches and localities announce hotline numbers on ensuring traffic safety to receive and promptly handle people's complaints during the holiday; send results of the implementation of traffic safety assurance tasks (report the holiday before 3:00 p.m. every day, report all peak holidays of April 30 - May 1 before 3:00 p.m. on May 4, 2025) to the National Traffic Safety Committee.
Assign the National Traffic Safety Committee to monitor, synthesize, and report to the Prime Minister on the results of implementing this telegram.
