On October 20, the Department of Home Affairs of Khanh Hoa province submitted a report on personnel work to Chairman of Khanh Hoa province Nguyen Tan Tuan.
This morning, the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council passed many Resolutions on merging, consolidating, and establishing departments.
These are the Resolutions on the establishment of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions on the basis of receiving the functions and tasks of state management of religion from the Department of Home Affairs; establishing the Department of Science and Technology on the basis of merging the Department of Information and Communications and the Department of Science and Technology; establishing the Department of Home Affairs on the basis of merging the Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs and the Department of Home Affairs; establishing the Department of Finance on the basis of merging the Department of Planning and Investment and the Department of Finance.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council also passed a resolution to establish a Department of Construction on the basis of merging the Department of Transport and the Department of Construction; establish a Department of Agriculture and Environment on the basis of merging the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; establish a Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on the basis of merging the Department of Tourism and the Department of Culture and Sports; establish an Provincial People's Committee Office on the basis of merging the Department of Foreign Affairs into the Provincial People's Committee Office.
According to this submission of the Department of Home Affairs, the newly merged departments will have 1 director and 4-5 deputy directors.
For the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Home Affairs submitted to the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province for consideration of transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Duy Quang - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, to hold the position of Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment.
Appointed Mr. Tran Van Chau - Director of the Department of Construction; Vo Chi Vuong - Director of the Department of Home Affairs, Mr. Nguyen Van Nhuan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Chief of Office of the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Pham Quoc Hoan - Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Chau Ngo Anh Nhan - Director of the Department of Finance; Mr. Vo Nam Thang - Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
The Department of Home Affairs also submitted to the Chairman of Khanh Hoa province about the transfer and introduction of Mr. Duong Nam Khanh - Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs to be elected as Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society for the 2020-2025 term; Mr. Pham Thai Dai - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Health; Mr. Van Dinh Tri - Deputy Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training.
Appointed Mr. Dang Huu Tai - Director of the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board, to hold the position of Director of the Agricultural and Transport Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The appointment and transfer of the above-mentioned officials will take effect from February 20, 2025.
