National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and promulgated Resolution No. 1961/NQ-UBTVQH15 of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee on the appointment of personnel to hold the position of Assistant Member of the Politburo, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Do Van Chien.
Accordingly, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to appoint Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vuong as Assistant to Mr. Do Van Chien, Member of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
During his time as Assistant Member of the Politburo, Standing Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vuong continued to receive a position allowance with a coefficient of 1.25.
The Resolution clearly states that the Chairman of the National Assembly's Delegate Affairs Committee, the Secretary General of the National Assembly - Chairman of the National Assembly Office and Mr. Nguyen Dinh Vuong are responsible for implementing this Resolution.
This Resolution takes effect from the date of signing (January 8, 2026).
In early November 2025, Mr. Do Van Chien was transferred and appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
On November 10, 2025, at the 10th Session, the National Assembly elected Mr. Do Van Chien, Member of the Politburo, Standing Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the 15th National Assembly.
And in Resolution No. 1962/NQ-UBTVQH15 signed and promulgated by Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh, the National Assembly Standing Committee decided to approve the results of dismissing Mr. Dang Thanh Son from the position of Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Council, term XV, 2021 - 2026 from January 1, 2026.
