Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee has just held a conference to announce decisions on personnel work, receiving and appointing Mr. Ngo Sy Thien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction.
On September 4, Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee held a conference to announce the decision on personnel work for Mr. Ngo Sy Thien.
At the conference, leaders of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 1936/QD-UBND dated August 28, 2026 of the Chairman of Lai Chau Provincial People's Committee.
Accordingly, Mr. Ngo Sy Thien was admitted to work at the Department of Construction and appointed to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, for a term of 5 years from August 28, 2026.
Speaking to assign tasks, Mr. Nguyen Sy Canh assessed that Mr. Ngo Sy Thien was basically trained, had held many positions, had a sense of responsibility, professional capacity and completed assigned tasks well.
Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee requested the new Deputy Director of the Department of Construction to quickly grasp the work, be close to the grassroots level, review ongoing works and projects, and promptly advise on removing difficulties and bottlenecks, especially important infrastructure projects.
Mr. Ngo Sy Thien said that he will proactively research the assigned fields, coordinate to learn in-depth about the field of transportation; and at the same time strengthen administrative discipline and order, improve the quality of advice and proactively remove difficulties in infrastructure projects.
The new Deputy Director of the Department of Construction hopes to continue to receive the attention and direction of provincial leaders and the coordination and support of departments, branches, and localities to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
