Implementing Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 dated June 12, 2025 and Resolution No. 1659/NQ-UBTVQH15 dated June 16, 2025 of the National Assembly Standing Committee on the arrangement of commune-level administrative units of Da Nang city in 2025, the People's Committee of Da Nang city announced the working address of the People's Committees of wards, communes and the New Ward and Commune-level Public Administration Service Centers in Da Nang city. It is expected that on June 30, the Central Government will announce the decision to merge the two localities of Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province, perfecting the new government apparatus.
According to Mr. Nguyen Van Quang - Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, from July 1, 2025, the new Da Nang City will be established on the basis of merging the current Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province.
Preparations for this important event were proactively implemented by Da Nang early, achieving many positive results. In particular, the completion of the organizational arrangement, streamlining of units and preparing a plan to organize local government at two levels is a highlight.
