Implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation; the policy of deploying the Party's digital ecosystem for propaganda and mass mobilization work; based on the direction of General Secretary To Lam at the National Conference summarizing propaganda and mass mobilization work in 2025, the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee chaired the development of the application of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization sector (TGDV App) on mobile phones.
According to the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, this is a multimedia information platform serving the entire propaganda and mass mobilization sector nationwide, helping officials, party members and people from all walks of life easily access information. Thereby, promoting propaganda, dissemination, and thorough understanding of the Party's guidelines and State policies and laws to a large number of people.
At the same time, it is a channel to receive and process petitions and reflections from cadres, party members, and people to the agencies of the Party, State, and Government, contributing to effectively serving the work of advising on building and completing policies, practically aimed at the people, and building development.
Recently, at the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, a working session and report on the launch of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Information System Application (TGDV App) took place. The working session was chaired by Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee.
At the meeting, Mr. Trinh Van Quyet emphasized long-term orientation requirements for the application: The TGDV app must be truly useful to users, pose major problems about data and artificial intelligence (AI) applications, and build a data warehouse that is deep and wide enough to effectively serve propaganda and mass mobilization in the new context.
Previously, at the National Conference summarizing the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work in 2025, deploying tasks for 2026, General Secretary To Lam expressed his impression with the Report on the digital ecosystem in the Party's propaganda and mass mobilization work; showing positivity in digital transformation, firmly grasping science and technology, and applying it in work.
The General Secretary requested the entire sector to focus on thoroughly grasping how propaganda and mass mobilization officials nationwide understand the requirements and understand the work to deploy task plans in the coming time.
The sector also needs to have effective management solutions to reduce "virtual" information, "hacking" information, and fake information in cyberspace; if done, it will reduce crime, reduce negativity, sanitize data, sanitize society, and maintain people's trust.
The launch of the TGDV App is expected to be held on January 15th.
TGDV App is a mobile application of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization sector, integrating synchronously core functions: providing official information; organizing the study of resolutions, topics, and digital literacy; building a digital knowledge library; listening, receiving and responding to people's opinions; analyzing and forecasting public opinion; supporting reporters and propagandists; applying AI and personalizing content; ready to connect and expand in the Party's digital ecosystem.
