At the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Viet Quan - Political Commissar of the Military Command of Kien Giang province - announced the decisions of the Military Region 9 Command, to transfer and appoint the positions of officers of the new An Giang Provincial Military Command (after merging the Kien Giang Provincial Military Command and the An Giang Provincial Military Command) including the Provincial Military Command, 4 regional Defense Command Committees; adjust the positions of officers of Team K92 and Regiment 893.
The organization of the awarding of decisions on the transfer and appointment of cadres is to implement the strategic policies of the Party and State on merging provinces, dissolving district-level districts, implementing two-level governance and establishing regional defense command boards. At the same time, the transfer and appointment of cadre positions at this time also contributes to helping cadres and officers improve their professional working capacity, revolutionary spirit, and be ready to receive and complete all assigned tasks.
Speaking at the conference, Colonel Huynh Van Khoi - Political Commissar of the Military Command of Kien Giang province - acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts and contributions of the comrades who received the decision on this occasion, this is the recognition of the Party committees and commanders at all levels for the contributions of each cadre.
