On April 11, Mr. Tran Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central Trade Unions - led a working delegation to visit and wish the traditional New Year of Chol Cham Thmay in Soc Trang province.
At the visit and New Year greetings, Mr. Tran Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Central organizations sent New Year greetings to the Venerable, Venerable, Venerable and Khmer people.
Mr. Tran Thang highly appreciated the role of the Venerable, Venerable, Venerable and Khmer people in building and promoting the great national unity bloc as well as contributing to the economic development of the locality and the prosperity of the country.
Mr. Tran Thang hopes that the Association of Patriotic Propaganda and Education Solidarity of Soc Trang province will continue to promote the good tradition, propagate and mobilize Buddhism to uphold the spirit of great national unity, and well implement the policies and laws of the Party and the State.
Venerable Ly Duc - Deputy Head of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of the province, Deputy Head of the Association of Patriotic Propaganda and Education Solidarity of Soc Trang province - informed that Soc Trang is a province with a large Khmer ethnic group, accounting for 30.18% of the province's population.
On this occasion, the working delegation presented flowers and gifts to the Association of Patriotic Education Solidarity of Soc Trang province. The working group presented 50 gifts to subscribers, cardents and policy households with outstanding merits who are Khmer people.
