After 10 years of implementing 6 twinning contents, Po Hen village, Hai Son commune, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province (Vietnam) and Than San village, Na Luong town, Phong Thanh area, Guangxi province (China) have achieved many important results.
The two sides have organized 82 phone calls to congratulate, visit and encourage each other on holidays, New Year, funerals, and joys, and have supported and helped each other with experience in economic development, building two rich and beautiful villages; together maintaining public hygiene, cleaning, not littering on the border riverbanks, protecting the ecological environment, helping each other overcome the consequences of natural disasters, preventing floods and storms, rescuing and saving victims; preventing epidemics that occur to people, livestock and crops in a practical and effective manner.
The two villages have organized 14 cultural and artistic exchanges, friendly sports activities, and ethnic games; regularly organize visits, cultural exchanges, and artistic exchanges to congratulate each other on the occasions of National Day, Traditional New Year, and Traditional Festivals of each country.
At the same time, it has coordinated with Po Hen Border Guard Station (Vietnam) and Border Management Company (China) to successfully organize 4 legal dissemination sessions for people on both sides of the border with specific and practical contents on 3 legal documents on the Vietnam - China land border; people of the two villages regularly provide information and exchange with the functional agencies of the two localities on the situation directly related to security and order in the border area, illegal entry and exit, illegal trading and transportation of drugs, together exchanging economic development, exchanging trade and goods, exchanging valuable experiences in the field of agricultural and forestry production; helping each other in the work of preventing and fighting the COVID-19 epidemic.
Along with that, the two villages have actively propagated, mobilized and educated the people to build and foster solidarity, friendship and traditions of the two Parties, two States and two localities. In the past 10 years, there have been no violations of territorial sovereignty, no encroachment, no encroachment, ensuring good security and order on the border.
At the conference summarizing 10 years of “Ban - Ban” friendship between Po Hen village (Vietnam) and Than San village (China), the two sides exchanged and discussed a number of key tasks in the coming time. Immediately after the summary session, there were cultural and artistic exchange activities, physical education and sports between the people of the two villages.
