Presiding over the Conference: Mr. Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Fatherland Front Committee, Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman - General Secretary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman of Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee; Ms. To Thi Bich Chau - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front.
According to the program, on the morning of April 17, delegates will discuss and give opinions on the following contents: Submission for comments on the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Law on Trade Unions; Law on Youth; Law on Grassroots Democracy.
Discuss and give opinions on: Draft report summarizing opinions and recommendations of voters and people to send to the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
The conference will also invite Government representatives to inform about some contents on the merger of some provincial-level administrative units, not district-level organizations, and continued merger of commune-level administrative units.
Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mr. Do Van Chien - Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Fatherland Front Committee, Central mass organizations, Chairman of the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front proposed delegates to promote democracy and focus on the above contents. The Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee will absorb and complete the documents and submit it to the competent authority for consideration and decision.
