Khanh Hoa sets a double-digit growth target and improves people's lives

On behalf of the Presidium, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - briefly presented the Political Report of the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term to the Congress.

With the theme: "Proud under the glorious flag of the Party; promote revolutionary traditions; join hands and wholeheartedly realize the goal of raising the level of development; build Khanh Hoa into a centrally-run city, a high-growth cucum, with a high, gentle and happy standard of living".

The political report focuses on evaluating the results of 5 years of implementing the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress; clarifying achievements, limitations, causes, and lessons learned; at the same time, identifying the main directions, tasks, and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 term.

In the past term, Khanh Hoa completed 25/26 targets; GRDP grew by an average of 8.2%/year; the economic structure shifted in the right direction; export turnover reached 2.2 billion USD; total social investment capital was more than 370,200 billion VND.

Traffic infrastructure is invested synchronously; attracting many strategic investors; gradually removing economic "bottlenecks". The work of planning and approval has been accelerated; some specific mechanisms and policies have initially been effective.

Entering the new period, the province strives to become a centrally-governed city by 2030; an international marine tourism center; a national and regional data center; a double-digit economy; a modern, smart, sustainable urban system; synchronous infrastructure; a protected environment.

The people have a high standard of living, peace and happiness. At the same time, build a clean and strong Party Committee; ensure national defense and security, and maintain sovereignty over seas and islands.
