Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term was again appointed to hold the position of Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term.
The 4 Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee include: Mr. Ho Xuan Truong (Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee), Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan (Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee), Mr. Nguyen Khac Ha and Mr. Lam Dong.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh emphasized that he will work with the Executive Committee to promote the tradition of solidarity, uphold political determination, mobilize the strength of the entire political system and people, strive to successfully implement the goals and targets of the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025 - 2030 term.
Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh (born in 1969), from Vinh Phuc (now in Phu Tho province), has a PhD in Economics. He has held important positions such as: Chief of the Office of the State Bank of Vietnam; General Director, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank); Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise Bloc.
In June 2021, he was transferred by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Hau Giang Provincial Party Committee; in November 2024, he was assigned to continue to be the Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.
After Khanh Hoa merged with Ninh Thuan, from July 1, 2025, he was appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the new Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee.
