After listening to the report and opinions at the meeting, General Secretary To Lam noted that it is necessary to continue to widely disseminate to the people about the purpose, meaning, scope, and content of amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
Diversify forms for people to contribute opinions, without restricting any form; ensure promoting democracy and substance; increase the mobilization of people to contribute opinions through the application via VNeID, while emphasizing that this is a national digital citizen application, limiting distorted arguments, and opposing the digital citizen application policy.
The General Secretary pointed out that the agencies according to the assigned tasks need to do well the work of synthesizing the opinions of the people, ensuring the full and objective recognition of the comments in accordance with the scope and content of the constitution amendment of the 2013 Constitution to report to the National Assembly for consideration and decision; Strengthen the struggle against wrong, hostile, bad and malicious information on cyberspace related to the amendment and supplement of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
The Secretariat assigned the National Assembly Party Committee to preside over and coordinate with agencies to summarize the process of collecting public opinions after completion in order to draw lessons to effectively continue collecting public opinions on major issues of the country in the coming time.
