On May 30, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council to organize a program for City Leaders to meet and listen to children in 2025, with the theme of Proud to be a young bamboo shoots of Ho Chi Minh City.
This is a meaningful and practical activity to celebrate the Month of Action for Children and International Day of Children. At the same time, it is an opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City leaders to listen to the voices, thoughts, and aspirations of children - the future owners of the city and the country.

Speaking about the program orientation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council said that in the past, children have tried their best, helped each other in life and study.
"Before the beginning of the program, she and the children visited around the hall, reading the very enthusiastic sharing and aspirations of the children trying to contribute to build the city in the future, young age working small" - Ms. Nguyen Thi Le shared.

In this year's program, the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Council hopes that children continue to raise the wishes of children in the city in particular and citizens of the city in general, join hands to contribute to the city and the developed country to rise in the new era.
At the program, children presented their opinions in 4 groups of topics, including: Health, stature of city citizens; Quality of city citizens; Intelligence, capacity of city citizens; Conditions and living environment of city citizens.
The program is a practical bridge to contribute to promoting children's participation in issues related to themselves, forming a sense of responsibility, critical skills, presenting opinions and a positive citizen spirit for children in the city named after Uncle Ho.
