On November 3, according to information from the Organizing Committee of the Second Vietnam International Defense Exhibition, this exhibition has the theme of "Peace, friendship, cooperation and development". Regarding some of the main activities planned at the exhibition, the opening ceremony will include a welcome flight by the Air Force; a performance by the Special Forces.
The exhibition displays and introduces defense and security products of defense industry companies; including products researched and manufactured by Vietnam; outstanding and modern weapons and technical equipment in the Vietnam People's Army.

This Vietnam International Defense Exhibition will be held at Gia Lam Airport (Hanoi) from December 19-22, 2024.
The Vietnam International Defense Exhibition 2024 is an opportunity for the Ministry of National Defense to introduce new defense products researched and produced by domestic defense enterprises.
This is also a form of promoting defense cooperation, sharing, receiving and transferring technology; expanding investment cooperation in the defense industry with other countries and international partners.
This is also one of many practical activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024), and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).
This is the second time the Ministry of National Defense has organized the Vietnam International Defense Exhibition. The first Vietnam International Defense Exhibition was organized by the Ministry of National Defense in 2022.
