Coast Guard rescues fisherman with work accident at sea

Ba Ria - Vung Tau - Fishermen who had an accident at work were given emergency aid and stabilized their health at sea by the Coast Guard.

On November 5, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command said that CSB 8005 ship had just provided timely emergency assistance to fishermen of fishing boat BV-4643.TS who had a work accident while working at sea.

Previously, at 4:00 p.m. on November 4, CSB 8005 received information from fishing boat BV-4643.TS (captained by Tran Van Tin) with fisherman Nguyen Tan Tien (born in 1973, from Quang Ngai) having an accident while working, resulting in a broken finger.

Upon receiving the information, CSB 8005 ship quickly approached, then officers, soldiers and medical staff urgently brought the injured crew member onto the ship to wash the wound, bandage to stop the bleeding, temporarily immobilize and give the victim high doses of antibiotics.

At around 6:00 p.m. the same day, when fisherman Tien's health condition was stable and the wound had stopped bleeding, CSB 8005 handed over Mr. Tien to a fishing boat to bring him ashore for further treatment.
