On June 25, at the 9th Session, the National Assembly held a separate meeting, listening to the report of National Assembly Standing Committee member Nguyen Thanh Hai on the explanation and acceptance of the opinions of National Assembly deputies discussed at the Delegation on the dismissal of Mr. Y Thanh Ha K'nam from the position of Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, the position of Chairman of the Ethnic Council of the 15th National Assembly and the number of members of the 15th National Assembly Standing Committee.
The National Assembly established a Ballot Counting Committee; decided on personnel work under its authority by secret ballot; listened to the Ballot Counting Committee announce the ballot counting results.
The National Assembly listened to Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Tung present the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on the dismissal of Mr. Y Thanh Ha K'nam from the position of Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee and the position of Chairman of the Ethnic Council of the 15th National Assembly.
After that, the National Assembly voted to pass the Resolution in the form of electronic voting, the result was that 406 delegates participated in the vote; of which, 406 delegates approved (equal to 100% of the total number of National Assembly delegates present).
Previously, the Politburo decided to transfer and assign Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie K'ne to temporarily stop participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, transfer, assign, and appoint him to participate in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie K'nam, born in 1973, hometown Ea Phoc Commune, Cu M'gar District, Dak Lak Province; has a Master's degree in Public Administration, Bachelor's degree in Foreign Economics, and Bachelor's degree in Politics majoring in Organizational Work.
He is a member of the 12th and 13th Party Central Committee (invalid), member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council, Chairman of the Vietnam - Canada Friendship Parliamentarians' Group; a delegate of the 15th National Assembly.
