Mr. Truong Viet Dung holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee
Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh has just signed a Decision approving the election results for the position of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for Mr. Truong Viet Dung.
Decision No. 1159/QD-TTg takes effect from the date of signing and promulgation (June 14, 2025).
Previously, on June 13, the 16th Hanoi People's Council, term 2021-2026, held a thematic session (203.03) to consider personnel work under its authority.
At the session, 100% of the delegates present approved the resolution to elect Mr. Truong Viet Dung - Member of the City Party Committee, Chief of Office of the Hanoi People's Committee; delegate of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, term 2021-2026.

On June 13, the Hanoi People's Council held a 23rd session (special session) to review a number of contents under its authority.
With 100% of delegates in favor, the Hanoi People's Council elected Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Mai - Deputy Head of the XV Hanoi National Assembly Delegation, to hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council, term XVI, 2021-2026.

At the conference, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee on Mr. Nguyen Hung Vuong ceasing to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and ceasing to hold the position of Secretary of the Tuyen Quang City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Mr. Nguyen Hung Vuong was assigned and transferred to work at the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board and appointed to the position of Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board for a period of 5 years.
