On June 22, at the National Assembly House, the Party Committee of the Delegation Work Committee held the 1st Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh attended the congress.
At the congress, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Party Committee's Organization Committee Dinh Xuan Tung announced the decision of the National Assembly Party Committee Standing Committee to appoint members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and appoint the Party Committee Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Delegation Work Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
According to the decision, the Party Executive Committee of the Delegation Work Committee consists of 8 personnel and the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Delegation Work Committee consists of 3 personnel.
Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Delegation Work Committee - holds the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Delegation Work Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Ms. Ta Thi Yen - Member of the National Assembly Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Delegation Work Committee - holds the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee.
Also at the congress, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Party Committee's Organization Committee Dinh Xuan Tung announced the Decision of the National Assembly Party Committee Standing Committee appointing the Inspection Committee and Chairman, Deputy Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the Delegation Work Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Then, with 100% of delegates present in agreement, the Congress passed the Resolution of the Congress of the Delegation Work Committee for the 2025-2030 term.
Party Secretary and Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai said that for the first time in its role as the National Assembly's Professional Committee, the Delegation Affairs Committee has directly submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval of the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies - marking a new development phase of the Committee.
The Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee emphasized that the congress is an opportunity to objectively and comprehensively evaluate the results achieved in the past term, seriously pointing out limitations and shortcomings, clarifying the causes and drawing lessons.
On that basis, the Congress set goals, directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term, ensuring that the leaders of the Delegation Work Committee continue to strongly innovate the content and methods of operation, meeting the increasingly high requirements of the National Assembly and the expectations of the people.
