On August 29, 2024, at Dien Hong Hall, National Assembly House, the Party Committee of Central Agencies in coordination with the Office of the President, the Office of the National Assembly, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Truth National Political Publishing House organized the Scientific Workshop "55 years of implementing President Ho Chi Minh's Testament in Central Agencies (1969 - 2024)". General Secretary and President To Lam sent a flower basket to congratulate the Workshop.
Speaking at the workshop, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that over the past 55 years, President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts and Testament have always accompanied the nation, illuminating and guiding our entire Party, people and army to always be steadfast and loyal to his revolutionary cause and ideals, and to excellently continue the great revolutionary cause to which he devoted and sacrificed his whole life.
Under the leadership of the Party, promoting the strength of great solidarity, determination and will of the entire nation, combining the strength of the nation with the strength of the times, our army and people have won a great victory in the resistance war against the US, saving the country, completely liberating the South, unifying the country, bringing the country together, "fulfilling His wish".
In the process of building and defending the socialist Fatherland, especially after nearly 40 years of carrying out the national renovation, thanks to promoting the strength of the entire nation, with the joint efforts and unceasing efforts of generations of cadres, party members and people of all walks of life, our country has achieved great and historic achievements. We can proudly report to Uncle Ho that under the leadership of the Party, our people have built our country "increasingly more dignified and beautiful" as he wished.
Implementing President Ho Chi Minh's testament, our Party pays special attention to the task of Party building and rectification, always identifying this as a regular and key task. Building the Party in terms of ethics is associated with building a culture of integrity, considering a culture of integrity as the foundation for building the awareness and ethics of cadres and Party members, at the same time, "building a culture of integrity to "not want" corruption and negativity.
Gathering brilliant minds, immense compassionate hearts
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang - Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, President Ho Chi Minh's Testament is an extremely valuable historical document at the Party's platform level - a national treasure, the crystallization of feelings and dedication throughout a lifetime of noble revolutionary activities, loyal to the Fatherland, to the Party, and devoted to the people.
Covered in the Testament are the noble sentiments, pure morality and deep lifelong devotion to the country and people of Ho Chi Minh - a man who from his youth until his departure from this world lived "a glorious life, full of hardships and sacrifices, extremely noble and rich, extremely pure and beautiful".
In his closing speech at the workshop, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Agencies Bloc Nguyen Van The said that all comments will be accepted, and on that basis edited into documents to serve the research, study, application and creative development of Ho Chi Minh's legacy; successfully building a "peaceful, unified, independent, democratic and prosperous" Vietnam and contributing worthily to the world revolutionary cause as the will of beloved President Ho Chi Minh.
