Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Hau A Lenh emphasized that the 1st session of the 20th Provincial People's Council is of particular importance, not only consolidating the organizational structure of the local government but also creating a political, legal and operating foundation for the entire term 2026 - 2031.
Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee affirmed that the election of National Assembly Deputies of the 16th term and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term in the province has been successful, truly a festival of the country for the whole people.
The voter turnout rate reached a very high level, ensuring democracy, compliance with the law, safety, and thrift. The election results are in accordance with the structure and composition, showing the people's deep belief in the Party, State and authorities at all levels.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, term XX, elected the titles of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council, Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee, Heads of the Provincial People's Council Boards, members of the Provincial People's Committee and elected People's Assessors according to regulations.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Van Son was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Council, term 2026 - 2031. The Vice Chairmen of the People's Council include: Mr. Hau Minh Loi, Ms. Pham Thi Minh Xuan and Ms. Le Thi Thanh Tra.
Mr. Phan Huy Ngoc continued to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031.
The Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee include Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan, Mr. Hoang Gia Long and Ms. Vuong Ngoc Ha.
Also at the meeting, representatives of the Provincial Election Commission reported on the election results and confirmed the qualifications of delegates of the People's Council of Tuyen Quang province, term XX. In the recent election, the voter turnout in Tuyen Quang reached 99.99%.
Regarding the election of National Assembly deputies, 10 deputies have been elected. The deputies all have university degrees or higher, and advanced political theory.
At this session, delegates also agreed with the draft Resolution confirming the results of members of the Provincial People's Committee for the term 2026 - 2031, and the draft Resolution confirming the results of the Appellate Judges of the Provincial People's Court and the Regional People's Court for the term 2026 - 2031.
Approving the Resolution approving Deputy Heads of Committees, Members of Committees of the Provincial People's Council and the Resolution establishing delegation groups of the Provincial People's Council.
