At the conference, Gia Lai province awarded investment policy approval decisions, investment registration certificates and signed memorandums of understanding (MOU) for 273 projects, with a total registered capital of about 83.8 trillion VND, equivalent to more than 32 billion USD.

At the conference, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee - presented major orientations in attracting investment in the province.
According to Mr. Tuan, Gia Lai is a land converging many potentials, outstanding competitive advantages, possessing a new development space with large scale and very large growth potential.
With a long-term vision, the province identifies the development motto as "maximizing potential - promoting advantages - infrastructure breakthrough - strongly improving the investment environment - rapid and sustainable development".
From the potentials and advantages gained, the Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee invited investors to explore, cooperate and implement projects in the fields of high-tech industry, processing and manufacturing industry, clean energy; tourism, services, modern urban development; high-tech agriculture associated with processing industry and logistics.
We call on businesses and investors with capacity and strategic vision to participate in the province's pioneering business force, jointly implement large-scale projects with high added value, creating new growth momentum for Gia Lai," Mr. Tuan invited.
Mr. Tuan also requested investors to implement projects on schedule, in accordance with commitments, in a substantive and effective manner; strive to shorten time, exceed progress; and use resources effectively.

Investors must "say the truth, do the truth
Directing at the conference, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung emphasized that the Party and State always pay special attention, support, and create favorable conditions for the business community and entrepreneurs to develop sustainably.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the determination of the leaders of Gia Lai province when building a scenario for GRDP growth in 2026 to reach 10.2%, with the added value of the industry - construction increasing by 15%.
Mr. Ho Quoc Dung affirmed that the Government always identifies businesses as an important driving force for growth. Therefore, he proposed that the province continue to support businesses to accelerate the restoration of production infrastructure, create conditions for accessing credit, remove obstacles in procedures, land, and investment; continue to improve the investment and business environment in a transparent and favorable direction.
The Deputy Prime Minister shared that, as a child born, raised and grown up from this land, witnessing the ups and downs of the locality, he has never seen Gia Lai fully converge the conditions of "heavenly time - geographical advantage - human harmony" to accelerate, break through and develop as it is today.
He expects Gia Lai province, investors and the local business community to "speak the truth, do the truth, do it to the end and do it with results".

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung also requested the leaders of Gia Lai province to firmly adhere to the "3 no" viewpoint in attracting investment: Do not trade the environment for mere growth; do not accept labor-intensive projects with cheap labor and outdated technology; do not choose investors who lack capacity in technology, management and finance.
