According to the program of the first Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly, on August 5, the National Assembly held a plenary session at the Hall, listening to presentations and reports on 5 contents: Draft Law on Grassroots Mediation (amended); Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Workers going to work abroad under contract; Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Publishing Law; Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Architecture Law; Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam, Law on Anti-Money Laundering and Law on Credit Institutions.
After the plenary session, the National Assembly discussed in groups about the Draft Law on Grassroots Mediation (amended), the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Publishing Law, and the Draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Workers going to work abroad under contract.
In the afternoon of the same day, the National Assembly spent time discussing in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing Article 6 and Appendix IV on the list of conditional business lines of the Investment Law; The draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Customs Law.
After that, the Minister of Finance spoke to explain and clarify some issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
