Regarding amending and supplementing a number of provisions of the Law on Officers of the Vietnam People's Army, according to the Government's submission, this content is related to the arrangement of the apparatus of the political system on the organization of local government at 2 levels, amending and supplementing a number of other contents.
On that basis, it is expected to remove some positions of commander and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, deputy commander and Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command, commander and political leader of the District Military Command, deputy commander and political leader of the District Military Command.
This is to ensure compliance with the Central Military Commission's project on continuing to arrange local military organizations to be "streamlined, compact, and strong" to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.
