Accordingly, the Prime Minister approves the arrangement of People's Police Academys and Schools as follows:
1. Maintain the focal points of the People's Security Academy, the People's Police Academy, the People's Police Political Academy, the Academy of Security Engineering and Technology, the International Academy, the Academy of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue.
2. Merge the People's Security University and affiliated organizations into the People's Security Academy to establish the Branch of the People's Security Academy in Ho Chi Minh City (based on the People's Security University). Branch name: People's Security Academy - Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
Merging People's Security College I and affiliated organizations into the People's Security Academy.
3. Merge the People's Police University and affiliated organizations into the People's Police Academy to establish the Branch of the People's Police Academy in Ho Chi Minh City (based on the People's Police University). Branch name: People's Police Academy - Ho Chi Minh City Branch.
Merging People's Police College I, People's Police College II and affiliated organizations into the People's Police Academy.
The Prime Minister assigned the Minister of Education and Training, based on the Prime Minister's approval mentioned above, to issue Decisions on arranging and reorganizing People's Police Academys and schools according to the authority stipulated in the Education Law, ensuring that schools after arrangement, receiving functions and tasks, continue to organize training and award degrees to students who are studying to ensure the rights of students according to regulations.
At the same time, the Prime Minister abolished Decision No. 106/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2019 of the Prime Minister approving the Project on arranging and reorganizing educational and training institutions under the Ministry of Public Security.
The Prime Minister also abolished Decision No. 13/QD-TTg dated February 7, 2024 of the Prime Minister amending and repealing a number of contents in Decision No. 106/QD-TTg dated December 31, 2019 of the Prime Minister approving the Project on arranging and reorganizing educational and training institutions under the Ministry of Public Security.
