According to PV's investigation, Son La Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 1966/QD-UBND on assigning tasks to the Chairman, Vice Chairmen and Members of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2026-2031 term.
Accordingly, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Viet will comprehensively lead and manage the activities of the Provincial People's Committee, directly in charge of important areas such as socio-economic development.
The planning, investment, organization of the apparatus, cadres, national defense, security, anti-corruption, negativity and national target programs are undertaken by the Provincial Chairman.
Standing Vice Chairman Ha Trung Chien is in charge of culture, sports, tourism; education and training; health; population, family, children; investment promotion, trade and tourism. He also represents the Chairman to manage work when authorized.
Vice Chairman Dang Ngoc Hau is in charge of science, technology; ethnicity, religion; justice; foreign affairs, borders, border gates; banking, credit and administrative procedure control.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Cong is in charge of industry, trade, market management; agriculture, forestry, fishery, irrigation; land, resources, environment; disaster prevention and new rural construction.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Minh Tien is in charge of construction, architecture, urban development, technical infrastructure; bidding; finance, public assets; labor, wages, jobs and water supply and drainage programs, waste treatment, environmental protection.
Provincial People's Committee members are Directors of departments, Heads of specialized agencies responsible for managing assigned sectors and fields, and at the same time advising, proposing and ensuring the quality of contents submitted to the Provincial People's Committee.
The decision also assigns members of the Provincial People's Committee to monitor the area of communes and wards to strengthen responsibility, stick to the grassroots level and promptly handle arising issues.
The decision takes effect from the date of signing, replacing Decision No. 1045/QD-UBND dated April 28, 2026.
