At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission - announced the decision of the Politburo approving Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Binh province - to hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
On behalf of the Politburo, Mr. Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee - presented the decision and congratulated Mr. Nguyen Khac Than on his new responsibility.
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Committee Le Minh Hung believes that with his experience growing up from the grassroots and holding many different positions, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than will excellently complete the assigned tasks.

As a result, with the absolute vote of confidence of 100% of the delegates present, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
