This afternoon (November 22), in Hanoi, the Central Propaganda Department held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
Accordingly, the Politburo mobilized, assigned and appointed Mr. Ngo Dong Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department.
Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia, on behalf of the Politburo, presented the decision and flowers to congratulate Mr. Ngo Dong Hai.
Speaking at the ceremony, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia said that Mr. Ngo Dong Hai is a cadre who received basic training and grew up from the grassroots. During his duties in different positions, Mr. Ngo Dong Hai always strived to demonstrate his mettle, steadfast stance, working style and methods, especially the sense of responsibility of a leader to gather and unite the collective.
Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia believes that Mr. Ngo Dong Hai will continue to promote his capacity and practical work experience, quickly approach new work areas, and together with the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Central Propaganda Department, strive to fulfill assigned political tasks well.
Speaking on receiving the assignment, Mr. Ngo Dong Hai expressed his honor to be trusted, believed and assigned a new responsibility. He affirmed that in his new position, he will try his best, quickly study and approach the functions, tasks and plans of the Department, and strictly comply with the assignment of the Department's leaders. He will, together with the collective leadership, cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Central Propaganda Department, strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Mr. Ngo Dong Hai was born in 1970, in Phuoc Hung commune, Tuy Phuoc district, Binh Dinh province. Mr. Hai has a PhD in Electronics and Telecommunications and a Bachelor of Economics.
Mr. Ngo Dong Hai used to hold the positions of Vice Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission, Standing Deputy Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee, and Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee.
