After concluding activities in Udon Thani province, on the afternoon of May 27, General Secretary and President To Lam, along with his wife and high-level Vietnamese delegation, left Udon Thani International Airport to Don Mueang International Airport, Bangkok capital, to continue their official visit to the Kingdom of Thailand.
Welcoming General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife and the high-level Vietnamese delegation at the airport, on the Thai side were Thai Deputy Prime Minister Pakorn Nilprapunt, along with a number of government officials; Thai Ambassador to Vietnam Urawadee Sriphiromya.
On the Vietnamese side were Vietnamese Ambassador to Thailand Pham Viet Hung and his wife; along with a large number of officials and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in Thailand.
At the airport, there was a paratrooper team standing on both sides of the red carpet, simultaneously 21 rounds of cannons rang out to welcome. This is a special ceremony, showing Thailand's respect for the official visit of General Secretary and President To Lam and his wife and the high-level delegation of Vietnam.

It is expected that during the visit, General Secretary and President To Lam will have talks; meet with the King and Queen of Thailand, the Prime Minister and senior leaders of Thailand to exchange in-depth views on major orientations to effectively implement the new cooperation framework.
On this occasion, the General Secretary and President will attend the Vietnam - Thailand Business Forum; witness the signing ceremony of some cooperation documents between the two countries.
On the basis of good friendly relations and many open cooperation potentials, the visit of General Secretary and President To Lam is expected to create new momentum to bring Vietnam-Thailand relations to develop more strongly, towards new heights in the coming time.
