On January 26 (December 27, the year of the Dragon), Politburo member, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Central working delegation offered incense at the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Relic Site (Tho Xuan, Thanh Hoa), commemorating the National Hero - Emperor Le Thai To, along with the Le Dynasty kings and famous mandarins and righteous men who participated in the Lam Son uprising.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the delegation respectfully offered incense to commemorate the late Emperor Le Thai To, the Kings of the Later Le Dynasty, and the heroes and patriots of Lam Son; and respectfully reported to the souls of our ancestors about the development achievements of our homeland and country during the period of renovation and international integration.
Before the spirit of the late Emperor Le Thai To and his predecessors, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and members of the delegation expressed their gratitude to National Hero Le Loi, the kings of the Le Dynasty, and the famous mandarins and soldiers of the Lam Son uprising who made great contributions to the historical process of building and defending the country.
After 10 years (1418-1428) of long-term resistance to drive the Ming invaders out of the country, Le Loi ascended the throne as Emperor, took the reign name Thuan Thien, named the country Dai Viet, opened a period of independence, autonomy, and prosperity for the country that lasted nearly 360 years.
Lam Son is considered the "second capital" of Dai Viet after Thang Long - Dong Do - Hanoi. This is a relic site with many sacred cultural values not only for the Thanh Hoa people but also for the whole nation.
After offering incense at the Lam Kinh National Special Historical Relic Site, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang and the delegation went to Ngoc Lac district to visit, present gifts, and wish a Happy New Year to union members, workers, disadvantaged households, and families with meritorious services.
