On August 25, the Hai Phong City Party Committee organized a ceremony to award 80-year, 75-year and 70-year Party Badges on the occasion of National Day to veteran Party members of the City Party Committee. Comrade Le Minh Hung - Member of the Politburo, Prime Minister - attended the Award Ceremony.
Also attending were comrades: Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Chairman of the Government Office; Le Ngoc Chau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong City National Assembly Delegation, along with leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, members of the City Party Committee Standing Committee, members of the City Party Committee and leaders of departments, branches, units, and localities.
On the occasion of National Day September 2, 2026, the Hai Phong City Party Committee awarded and posthumously awarded badges to 18,524 party members of 118 party committees directly under the City Party Committee. In which: awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges for 80 years to 22 party members; awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges for 75 years to 3 party members; awarded Party Badges for 70 years to 25 party members; awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges for 65 years to 157 party members; awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges for 60 years to 996 party members; awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges for 55 years to 293 party members; awarded and posthumously awarded Party Badges for 50 years to 427 party members;...
On behalf of the Party and State leaders, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung respectfully sent to the elders, uncles, and comrades his warm regards, deep gratitude and best wishes. At the same time, he emphasized that National Day September 2nd is a great holiday of the nation. This is an opportunity for us to proudly look back at the 81-year journey of independence, freedom, unification, construction, and development of the country and the great achievements of the revolutionary cause over 96 years under the leadership of the Party. On that journey, the sacrifices and contributions of many generations of Vietnamese people, especially veteran Party members - those who early awakened to revolutionary ideals, followed the Party from the years when the country was still full of difficulties and hardships.
Prime Minister Le Minh Hung emphasized that we especially respect and appreciate the comrades who have stood in the ranks of the Party for 80 years, 75 years and 70 years. These are not only milestones in time, but a journey of training, dedication and unwavering loyalty to the Party, to the Fatherland, to the people. Throughout that journey, in any circumstances, the comrades have always maintained the qualities and bravery of a communist, setting an example, taking the lead, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, wholeheartedly contributing to the revolutionary cause of the Party, serving the Fatherland, serving the people. Each Badge awarded today is not only an honor for the individuals and families of the comrades, but also a source of pride for the Party cell and Party Committee where the comrades are active and the Party Committee of Hai Phong City.
The organization of awarding Party Badges on the occasion of the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2nd shows the respect and deep gratitude of the Party, State and Hai Phong City Party Committee to comrades and party members who have whole lives maintained revolutionary ideals and dedicatedly contributed to their homeland and country.
The Prime Minister requested Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, and socio-political organizations of the city to continue to pay attention to and take better care of the material and spiritual lives of veteran Party members; fully and promptly implement policies for people with meritorious services, the elderly and policy beneficiaries.
After the ceremony, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung and city leaders came to present the Party Badge to Comrade Doan The Dinh (Cao Van) - former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Acting Chairman of Hai Phong City People's Committee - at his private residence in Quang Trung street, Hong Bang ward.
