The Prime Minister asked Deo Ca Group to continue supporting and leading local contractors, helping them to develop and participate in more big projects. He also directed to have a clear bonus mechanism for contractors to do well, and strictly handle weak units or bid for halfway.
Regarding the contractor's recommendations, the Prime Minister agreed to invest and put into synchronous use of both tunnels to ensure investment efficiency and traffic safety. "This needs to be done immediately" - the Prime Minister emphasized.
Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway is 88km long, total investment is over 20,400 billion VND, passing through Quang Ngai (60.3 km) and Binh Dinh (27.7km). This is the largest project in 12 component projects of the North-South highway in the period of 2021-2025.
According to Deo Ca Group, there are 50 constructions on the construction site with 3,850 personnel and 1,550 equipment. The total output is about VND 7,300 billion, equivalent to 55% of the volume.
The road item has completed 95% of the main level of the mainstream and 12km of macadam. For the bridge item, all 77 bridges on the route have finished the abutment; 50 bridges are deploying beams and construction of the bridge surface. Song Ve Bridge - the largest item on the 610m long route - has completed the installation of the bridge.
The project faced many difficulties due to the site clearance until October 2024, greatly affecting the progress. Tunnel geology No. 3 is different from the original design documents, making it difficult for tunneling.
Deo Ca Group proposed to the Prime Minister to direct the investor and related units to accompany the removal of difficulties in legal procedures, and soon clarify the temporary and construction norms as not as appropriate as Grade shavings and embankment coefficient. The Group also proposed to invest in both tunnel pipes No. 1, 2 and 3 to avoid the situation of "bottlenecks bottlenecks", ensuring safety and stable circulation.
Earlier, the Prime Minister checked the construction progress of Dung Quat - Sa Huynh coastal route. This is a key transport project of Quang Ngai province, connecting key economic areas and creating motivation for tourism development and coastal services.
At the scene, the Prime Minister directed the construction of the bridge to overtake An Khe lagoon and My A seaport to ensure synchronous connection. He also requested to make a road connecting from Doc Soi (Dung Quat Economic Zone) to Chu Lai Airport to facilitate trade and development of the regional economy.
The Prime Minister emphasized that transport infrastructure projects need to be completed on schedule, quality assurance, not only help reduce traffic pressure but also promote local socio -economic development.
