Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway is 88km long, total investment is over 20,400 billion VND, passing through Quang Ngai (60.3 km) and Binh Dinh (27.7km). This is the largest project in 12 component projects of the North-South highway in the period of 2021-2025.
According to Deo Ca Group, there are 50 constructions on the construction site with 3,850 personnel and 1,550 equipment. The total output is about VND 7,300 billion, equivalent to 55% of the volume.
The road item has completed 95% of the main level of the mainstream and 12km of macadam. For the bridge item, all 77 bridges on the route have finished the abutment; 50 bridges are deploying beams and construction of the bridge surface. Song Ve Bridge - the largest item on the 610m long route - has completed the installation of the bridge.
The project faced many difficulties due to the site clearance until October 2024, greatly affecting the progress. Tunnel geology No. 3 is different from the original design documents, making it difficult for tunneling.
