According to the representative of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board (project investor), the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan expressway project has a total length of 11.47km. To date, the project has completed site clearance of 11.43km, reaching 99.7%. However, in reality, there are still about 0.57km of expressway, involving 12 households and 1.2km of service roads and crossroads that have not received compensation and support. The total site clearance capital in 2025 has been allocated by the Ministry of Transport at 479.8 billion VND to complete all items of the site clearance sub-project, mainly the value to implement 3 resettlement areas.
The Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board proposed that Da Nang City continue to complete the site clearance for the remaining part of the project. Mr. Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, said that the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway is very important for the development of the country and Da Nang City. Therefore, the People's Committee of Hoa Vang District is requested to promptly complete the site clearance for the project to hand over to the construction unit in February. For the construction units, the investor must arrange vehicles and workers to speed up the project's construction progress.
“We need to take advantage of the beginning of the year, when the weather is favorable, and construction units must make efforts to speed up progress. Ensure that the main route is open by August 30 and the entire route is open by December 30,” Mr. Quang requested.
At the Western Ring Road project, a representative of the Da Nang Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (project investor) said that this route is more than 1km long, connecting from the end of the Western Ring Road through the Concentrated Information Technology Park with 66 related documents and has completed the handover of the site since January. Currently, the project has reached 20% of the construction volume. The Da Nang Secretary said that this route currently does not have many major problems, mainly depending on the implementation process. Therefore, he requested that localities and related departments and branches closely coordinate to create conditions for the project to speed up progress, ensuring completion as committed in July 2025.
Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang also visited and encouraged the Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence. The Secretary of Da Nang highly appreciated the initiatives and ideas that the Centers are researching and implementing to help the city make new progress in training in microchip design and artificial intelligence as well as initiatives on innovative startups. Mr. Quang requested the staff of the centers to continue to have new initiatives to present to the city and related sectors. From there, the city will have a direction to support and call for partners and investors in the new year 2025 and the following years.
