On the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2026), on the morning of April 27, in Tay Ninh, General Secretary and President To Lam and the Central Working Delegation came to offer flowers and incense to commemorate and pay tribute to heroic martyrs at Tan Bien Martyrs' Cemetery (Doi 82 Martyrs' Cemetery).
Accompanying him were Politburo members: Nguyen Duy Ngoc, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission; Le Minh Tri, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission; General Nguyen Trong Nghia, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army; Nguyen Thanh Nghi, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission; General Phan Van Giang, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense; General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security; Tran Luu Quang, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; members of the Party Central Committee, leaders of central committees, ministries, branches, mass organizations, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, General Secretary and President To Lam and delegates offered flowers and incense, and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland. This is an activity that expresses the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", deeply expressing gratitude to previous generations who have contributed and sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and national defense.

At the ceremony, General Secretary and President To Lam raised the bell, and together with delegates lit incense at the graves, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who are resting at the cemetery.

The incense offering ceremony takes place in the context of the whole country looking forward to many major national holidays, contributing to educating patriotic traditions, consolidating belief and will to continue building and protecting the Fatherland in the new development stage.
Previously, on the occasion of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification, on the afternoon of April 26, General Secretary and President To Lam and the Central working delegation respectfully offered flowers and incense to commemorate: General Secretary Le Duan, General Secretary Nguyen Van Linh, Chairman of the State Council Vo Chi Cong, President Le Duc Anh, Chairman of the Council of Ministers Pham Hung, Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet at their private homes.
