Ho Chi Minh City appoints Director of Public Administration Service Center

Ho Chi Minh City - Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Head of the General Department, Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - was appointed Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Public Administration Service Center.

On the afternoon of December 30th, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organized a ceremony to award decisions on cadres and supplement key leadership personnel to agencies and units of the city.

At the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong presented the decisions of the Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

In which, transferring and appointing Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Head of the General Department, Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - to hold the position of Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Public Administration Service Center directly under the Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

From December 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Administration Service Center at 43 Nguyen Van Ba, Thu Duc ward officially went into operation.

Previously, the one-stop shop of departments and branches ended operations from December 26.

The center arranges 67 transaction counters, of which 61 counters have officials directly receiving applications. With the current scale, the center is capable of serving 800 - 1,000 customers at the same time.

With the centralized Public Administration Service Center model, people and businesses can now easily choose departments and branches to submit applications without having to move scattered as before.

At the same time, the Public Administration Service Center has coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center to complete the information technology system, helping people submit dossiers online for all procedures quickly and conveniently.

The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee also appointed Mr. Dang Van Dinh - Head of Project Department, Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee - to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Office of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.

Receiving and appointing Mr. Nguyen Van Tai - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Xuan Thoi Son commune - to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works of Ho Chi Minh City.

Appointing Mr. Huynh Thanh Trung - Standing Member of the Member Council of 27/7 Ho Chi Minh City One Member Limited Liability Company - to hold the position of Chairman of the Member Council of 27/7 Ho Chi Minh City One Member Limited Liability Company.

Transferring and appointing Mr. Vo Quang Son - former non-specialized member of the Board of Members, Director of Go Vap District Public Service Co., Ltd. - to hold the position of Director of the Credit Guarantee Fund for small and medium-sized enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Nguyen Manh Cuong emphasized that in the coming time, the city will implement many large-scale projects to promote socio-economic development, improve urban aesthetics and promote administrative reform. He reminded new officials to take the satisfaction of people and businesses as a measure of work efficiency.

Mr. Cuong believes that with a sense of responsibility and practical experience, individuals will successfully complete the assigned tasks. At the same time, he requested relevant agencies and units to coordinate and create conditions for officials to effectively deploy work right in their new positions, contributing to promoting the overall development of the city.
