On January 7, the Party Executive Committee of Nam Po district held its 33rd conference. At the conference, the decision of the Standing Committee of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee on approving the election results for the position of Deputy Secretary of Nam Po District Party Committee, term 2020-2025 was announced.
Accordingly, the Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to approve the election results of Mr. Vang A Chinh - Member of the District Party Standing Committee, Head of the District Police to hold the position of Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Nam Po District Party Committee, term 2020-2025.
Also at the Conference, delegates listened to a report on work between the two sessions; evaluated and proposed a classification level for the Nam Po District Party Committee in 2024.
Accordingly, in 2024, the district's socio-economic development and national defense and security goals will achieve many positive results. The school and classroom system will be strengthened; the grassroots health care network and medical equipment will be prioritized for investment.
The whole Nam Po district currently has 4,628 poor households, accounting for 38.32%, a decrease of 680 households compared to 2023... Party building and political system building work continues to have positive changes, the material and spiritual life of people in the district continues to be improved.
