On the morning of August 28, at the National Exhibition Center (Hanoi), General Secretary To Lam, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and former leaders of the Party and State attended the opening ceremony of the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day with the theme "80 years of the Journey of Independence - freedom - Happiness".
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Prime Minister emphasized that the exhibition is a special highlight, not only honoring the glorious historical journey, but also spreading patriotism, national pride, aspiration to rise up, affirming the potential and position of Vietnam on the path of innovation, integration and development.
The exhibition is held on the largest scale ever, with the full participation of 28 ministries, central agencies, 34 localities and more than 110 large economic enterprises and groups with more than 230 booths on the entire area of the exhibition center.
The exhibition introduces the achievements of nearly 180 occupations in fields such as industry, agriculture, trade, investment, culture, science and technology, special products, national defense, security, foreign affairs, etc.
In particular, depicting the image of the country and people of Vietnam with a heroic history of thousands of years of the nation; a culture imbued with national identity and unity in the diversity of 54 ethnic groups; the prosperity of products in all three regions of the country; the development and development of all ministries, departments, branches, 34 provinces and cities over the past 80 years.
The exhibition has an attractive and impressive way of presentation with many means, forms, and styles, from artifacts, images, and documents presented by modern technologies (3D, virtual reality, multimedia listening, artificial intelligence (AI)...), practical, absorbing and cultural depth.
The exhibition includes many unique thematic areas, notably:
1. The central area of the Exhibition with the theme "95 years of the Party flag rising the road", generally recreates important events, brilliant milestones, and successes under the leadership of the Party.
2. Exhibition space "Vietnam - Land - People" on achievements in developing culture and art, honoring the beauty of nature, the country and people of Vietnam.
3. Exhibition space "Economic locomotive" about the achievements of state-owned corporations and groups.
4. Exhibition space "Start-up for a National Championship" on the achievements of typical private enterprises.
5. Exhibition space "Aspiration for Sky" in the field of aerospace;
6. The exhibition space "Guns and shields" about the achievements of the heroic Vietnam Army and People's Public Security with basic modern weapons and technical equipment researched, manufactured and improved by Vietnam.
In particular, the Exhibition Center has dedicated the entire building named "Cultural path for the nation to go" to express the unique cultural and artistic space of our nation through regions and areas across the country.
Looking back at the process of building the Exhibition Center and the preparation and organization of the exhibition, the Prime Minister summarized in 36 words: "Dedicated leadership and direction - Rapid and bold construction - Effective public-private cooperation - Architecture, unique landscape - Technology, modern management - Large scale, high quality".
The exhibition is also a livable school, with a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity, making history closer and more accessible, so that todays generations can better understand the roots, the great sacrifices and achievements of previous generations.
The Prime Minister also emphasized that the exhibition is a vivid testament to the great potential of the cultural industry, entertainment industry and the great creativity of the Vietnamese people.
